Aura Vision Delivers Integrated LED Display Solutions Across Prince Mohammad Bin Fahd University

Prince Mohammad Bin Fahd University (PMU) in Saudi Arabia has expanded its use of Aura Vision LED display technology with a series of installations designed to support teaching, campus communication and security operations.

Working alongside system integration partner Enpro and distributor VenueTech LLC, Aura Vision supplied a range of LED display solutions across the university, each selected to meet the specific requirements of its environment. From lecture theatres and campus information displays to the Security Command Centre, the installations demonstrate how different applications benefit from technology designed around the way each space is used.

Within the University's two main lecture halls, Aura Vision supplied COMET-C 0.9 fine-pitch LED displays, providing lecturers and students with seamless visual platforms for presentations, teaching and academic events. Measuring 4.88 metres by 2.75 metres, each display delivers detailed image quality, intelligent pixel-to-pixel colour calibration and reduced blue light technology to support comfortable viewing during extended teaching sessions.

Elsewhere on campus, COMET-G LED banner displays were installed within circulation areas and outside classrooms, providing a modern digital signage platform for announcements, timetables and campus information. Positioned in high-traffic locations, the displays help improve day-to-day communication with students, staff and visitors while maintaining clear readability across a range of viewing distances.

Aura Vision also delivered a custom curved COMET-C 1.2 videowall for the University's Security Command Centre, providing operators with a seamless platform for monitoring CCTV feeds and managing campus security. Designed specifically around the geometry of the control room, the installation combines a custom curved support structure with Flip Chip COB technology to maintain consistent viewing angles and detailed image quality across the operator positions.

Ricardo Teixeira, Technical Director at Aura Vision, said, “At PMU, each space had its own operational requirements, so we selected technology that reflected how it would be used from teaching and communication through to continuous security monitoring."

Ali Saab, Video Division Manager at VenueTech LLC, added, One of the strengths of the project was being able to use Aura Vision’s LED portfolio across different environments while selecting the most appropriate solution for each application. Having confidence in the performance of the product range meant we could focus on specifying the right solution for each space, knowing it would meet the University's operational requirements."

Together, the three installations demonstrate Aura Vision's application-led approach to LED display design. By selecting technology that reflects the operational requirements of each environment, PMU has created a connected visual experience that supports teaching, communication and security across the campus.
