IHSE Chooses Aura Vision COMET-C LED for Airspace World Showcase

At this year’s Airspace World exhibition, IHSE used Aura Vision’s award-winning COMET-C LED display to power its live control room demonstrations, showcasing how modern KVM and visualisation technologies work together in mission-critical environments.

The IHSE stand featured a fully integrated operator workspace environment designed for airspace and operational control applications. At the centre of the setup was a large-format COMET-C LED screen, used to display multiple operational feeds and real-time data.

“For Airspace World, we wanted to create a complete operator workspace experience rather than simply display technology on a stand,” said Lena Fehr, Team Leader and Global Marketing Coordinator at IHSE. “We were looking for partners that shared our focus on quality, reliability and innovation, and Aura Vision immediately stood out because they understood what we wanted to achieve.”

With more than 40 years of experience in advanced KVM technology, IHSE develops solutions that allow operators in control rooms and air traffic environments to securely manage multiple systems in real time from a single workstation. The exhibition setup demonstrated how those workflows can be combined with large-scale visualisation technology to improve operational awareness and efficiency.

For IHSE, display performance was a major consideration when selecting an LED solution for the stand.

“Image quality and reliability were the two biggest priorities for us,” noted Fehr. “The COMET-C LED screen handled detailed operational content extremely well, which is important in control room and airspace applications.”

IHSE also highlighted the screen’s overall responsiveness and visual impact during live demonstrations. “Our first impression was the brightness and overall look of the display,” Fehr added. “It created a really clean, premium presentation environment and performed consistently throughout the exhibition.”

The project also highlights the growing use of LED technology within control rooms and critical communications environments.

“Projects like this are a good fit for COMET-C because the content is very detail-focused,” said Gerardo Grasa, Aura Vision EMEA Sales Director. “You need a display that is reliable and easy to work with, especially in live demonstration environments.”

IHSE believes LED technology will continue to play a bigger role in modern control room environments as operators move towards larger and more flexible visualisation systems.
