Aura Vision and Black Box Bring Industry Conversations Closer to the End User Across Europe

Aura Vision, a European LED display manufacturer focused on high-performance visual systems, has been working alongside Black Box, a global provider of digital infrastructure and integration solutions, to deliver a series of focused, invitation-only events across Europe.

Designed for professionals working in mission-critical environments, these sessions bring together end users, consultants, and system integrators in smaller groups, creating space for more direct and practical conversations around technology and system design.

The first of these events took place in Madrid in March, hosted by Black Box and Líneas y Cables, where attendees from the defence sector were invited to explore how LED technology is being applied within mission-critical environments.

The programme combined presentations from both companies, including an introduction and technical session from Black Box covering control room solutions, KVM, and IoT, alongside Aura Vision’s presentation on the evolution of video wall technology. The session also introduced Aura Vision’s COMET-C platform, followed by a live demonstration.

More recently, the format continued in Düsseldorf with The Innovation Swing, bringing together a smaller group of system integrators for a similar mix of presentations and discussion. The programme included contributions from Accellonet and EIZO, alongside Aura Vision’s session on video wall technology and a live demonstration of Black Box’s Emerald KVM solutions.

While the structure of each event varies slightly, the approach remains consistent by combining technical presentations with live demonstrations, followed by informal networking in a more relaxed setting.

Hans-Peter.Kuhnert, VP Sales EMEA for Black Box comments, “Bringing people together in a more focused setting allows for a different kind of conversation. It gives us the opportunity to spend more time with our clients, understand their challenges in detail, and explore how these technologies are actually used in practice. That’s where the real value of these sessions comes from.”

Across these sessions, Aura Vision’s contribution has centred on sharing its perspective on LED technology in real-world environments, particularly where reliability and long-term performance are critical.

Live demonstrations following each presentation have allowed attendees to experience the systems directly, offering a more practical understanding of how they perform in use, rather than relying solely on specification.

Gerardo Grasa, Aura Vision’s EMEA Sales Director adds, “What works well in these sessions is the combination of different perspectives. Bringing together Black Box’s expertise in infrastructure and control systems with our focus on visualisation allows attendees to see how these technologies come together as a complete solution. The live demonstrations also make a big difference, as people can experience how the systems behave in practice rather than just hearing about them.”

Further events are already planned for the coming months, including a session in Barcelona to be hosted at Aura Vision’s headquarters, with additional dates expected in Sweden and the Netherlands.

The intention of these events are to bring together the right group of people, in the right setting, to discuss how technology is used in practice, rather than simply how it is specified.

For both Aura Vision and Black Box, these sessions offer an opportunity to stay close to the environments their solutions are designed for, and to continue shaping their approach based on real-world use and feedback.
